RESIDENTIAL INTERIOR DESIGN

Size: 3174 sq feet
My role: I was a part of a two member team from Treelight Design and a lead for this project. I was involved throughout the design and execution stages.
A single floor apartment with a private roof was converted into a contemporary Indian & luxurious duplex with glass and metal gazebo created to blend the indoor with the outdoor. The home features a custom made ceramic partition, interesting terrazzo flooring done using scrap stones from the site and a striking blue staircase with a gold bar.

Challenges:

This house required major civil work. All the flooring, washrooms, ducting for hot water, air condition, electrical wiring had to be completely redone.

Since the house features both arched ceiling and gazebo ceiling, general lighting had to be carefully designed.
